Tri-State & Upstate
Wildlife Rehabilitators
There's hardly anyone that hasn't at some point taken in an injured wild animal and tried to nurse it back to health. Unfortunately, most of us are poorly equipped in facilities and knowledge to care for wildlife. Call 1-877-WILDHELP to find a licensed wildlife rehabilitator near you or visit NYS Wildlife Rehabilitation Council and How To Locate a Wildlife Rehabilitator.
To check the status of a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, please contact the Department of Environmental Conservation at 718-482-4941.
Time is of the essence, especially in the case of injuries. Don't delay seeking competent advice and help!
